Who I Work With

01
Children & Young People (from age 6)
I work with tamariki and young people experiencing grief, loss, family breakdown, anxiety, and the complex emotions that come with being young in a difficult world.
For younger children I work in age-appropriate, playful ways. For adolescents and young adults I draw on emotionally focused and narrative approaches.
Children don't need to talk to heal. They need to feel safe, understood, and not alone.
"A child who feels truly seen — even once — carries that with them for the rest of their life."

02
Adults
I work with adults navigating separation, grief, bereavement, loss, and life transitions. If you've tried counselling before and it didn't reach you, the work I do is different. I'm not a skills teacher. I'm an experiential therapist working at the level of emotion.

03
Parents
I work specifically with parents navigating the emotional complexity of separation — co-parenting conflict, guilt, grief for the family they had, and the challenge of staying a good parent through their own pain. Sometimes the most important thing a parent can do for their child is get support for themselves.
04
Family
I work flexibly — with family members together or separately — depending on what the situation actually calls for. Particularly experienced with families navigating separation.
